Shane Teakle - Director

Shane joined Teakle Accounting in 1998 and became Managing Director in 2002.
Shane has over 20 years of experience in the accounting profession and has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in taxation, accounting, finance and business management.

Shane is a member of CPA Australia and has been a Certified Practising Accountant since 1995. Shane is also a Registered Tax Agent and a Fellow of The Tax Institute which is the premier taxation body for Accountants and Lawyers in Australia.

Shane completed a Diploma of Farm Management at Marcus Oldham Farm Management College in 1989 and has previously worked on the family farm and other properties. Shane's rural experience and knowledge helps him to provide professional services to our farming business clients.
Shane has also completed an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and is qualified and experienced in providing advice on Self-managed Superannuation Funds. 

Shane is an active participant in Business SA's Tax Expert Reference Group and a member of the Mount Barker Business Group.



Shane's focus is on advising clients in all aspects of business management, taxation planning, farm management, Self-managed Superannuation Funds, business succession and family farm intergenerational succession.

Mark Oldman - Director

Mark has extensive experience in the financial services industry, having worked with National Australia Bank for 18 years, including various business management roles before taking the opportunity to transition into accounting. Mark commenced with Teakle Accounting in 2004 and became a director in 2005. Mark has many years of experience providing advice to a wide range of small businesses. Mark is a registered Tax Agent and an Associate of The Tax Institute.

Dion Wright - Director

After joining Teakle Accounting in 2007, Dion became a director in July 2019. Dion holds a Bachelor of Accounting and has a strong focus on client relationships and customer service. Dion provides tax, accounting and business advisory services to individual clients and a diverse range of small-to-medium-sized businesses. Dion works closely with clients to help them make informed decisions and meet their tax compliance obligations.

Nari Whittaker - Director

Nari is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience in the accounting profession. Nari joined our team in August 2017 and became a director in July 2023. Nari uses her extensive experience in managing our small to medium business clients, in addition to providing accounting and taxation services. Nari's strong customer service focus includes assisting clients with the day to day running of their businesses. Nari provides taxation, accounting and GST advice as well as accounting software support. Nari strives to have an in depth understanding of her client's needs allowing her to provide a high level of service.
